General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Beloit does not require a specific high school curriculum or standardized test score. However, additional consideration may be given to those students who have excelled in a rigorous curriculum that includes 4 years of English, 3 years of foreign language, 3 years of college-prep math, 3 years of lab science, and 4 years of social science or history.

Beyond the application, the only required document is the official school report and a teacher recommendation, preferably from a teacher from grade 11.

Optional components of the application include a ZeeMee profile, test scores, and an in-person meeting with a Beloit College admissions counselor. Although these are optional, they are highly recommended for a strong application.
