Admissions Requirements
General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions
Applicants can complete the Wartburg College application or the Common Application. An official secondary school transcript is required. ACT or SAT scores must be submitted, along with a writing sample.
A letter of recommendation or counselor recommendation may be requested. Applicants must complete the following college preparatory coursework:
- Four units of English
- Three units of mathematics
- Three units of natural science, two as laboratory sciences recommended
- Three units of social sciences
- Two units of the same foreign language, strongly recommended
Students who are home-schooled must submit two letters of recommendation from educator outside of the home environment and participate in an interview with an admissions counselor.
