Admissions Requirements

General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Pitzer College accepts the Common Application online. Admissions looks at a student’s level of preparation and academic potential. Four years of English and strong writing skills are required. Students should also have at least three years each of foreign language, Mathematics, and Science.

Students looking to apply will need to demonstrate their writing skills in a written supplement. Transcripts and two teacher recommendations are also required. Standardized test scores are only necessary in certain situations, such as those who are home schooled or coming from schools where grades are not provided.
