General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Successful high school transcripts should reflect four units of English, two units of foreign language and three units each of natural sciences, mathematics and social studies.

The college looks at each applicant holistically, so extracurriculars, personal interests and skills beyond academics are also considered.

You must submit your ACT or SAT scores along with your high school transcript and a completed application before May 1.

You can fill out the Lyon Application online, but the printed Common Application is best if your high school guidance counselor will submit paperwork on your behalf.
