Admissions Requirements

General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Harvey Mudd College accepts the Common Application online. Students must submit a letter of recommendation from a counselor, a math or science teacher and a humanities or social science teacher. Additional letters of recommendation can be submitted as well if necessary.

Students must also submit an essay, high school transcripts and standardized test scores. Harvey Mudd offers an optional application interview, but this interview does not affect the admissions process. It is however recommended for any student who wishes to decide whether Harvey Mudd is the right choice for their individual needs.
