Admissions Requirements

General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

For those students who have a proven record of academic success in an accredited secondary school, a successful and complete application will include successful completion of the following 16 units:

  • (1) 4 years of English;
  • (2) 2-3 years of foreign language;
  • (3) 3 years of natural science with at least 2 of the 3 years including lab participation;
  • (4) 2 years of social science; and
  • (5) 3 units of college preparatory mathematics.

Dickinson College is selective with applicants and prospective students should plan to complete more than the minimum requirements noted above. The admissions committee at Dickinson College will also review student engagement in extracurricular activities, interests, and leadership opportunities.
