A student’s secondary school achievement is the most reliable predictor of success in college.

The recommended high school academic program is a minimum of: English (4 years), foreign language (2 years), mathematics (3 years), laboratory science (2 years), social science (2 years). Students may be accepted without the recommended number of courses in a particular field on a case by case basis.

The submission of SAT or ACT scores is optional for traditional domestic applicants but required for home school applicants. Note that Agnes Scott does not require the ACT’s writing portion or the SAT’s optional essay.

Applicants must include at least one of the following:

  • SAT/ACT scores.
  • An evaluative interview with an Agnes Scott admission counselor.
