Admissions Requirements

General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Students must submit the Common Application, along with an essay and answers to Saint Anselm College member questions. Students should also be sure to highlight their activities and leadership experiences.

Applicants must request a copy of their transcript to be sent that includes GPA, grades and class rank, if applicable. The following coursework should appear on the transcript:

  • Four Years of English
  • Three Years or more of a Laboratory Science
  • Three Years or more of Mathematics
  • Two Years or more of Social Sciences
  • Two Years or more of the same Foreign Language
  • Two Years or more of additional credit electives

Prospective students should submit a Counselor Recommendation and a letter of Teacher Recommendation. Students may also send letters from clergy, coaches or parents that might shed light on their special qualities. Submission of SAT and ACT scores are optional. The writing portion is recommended for both tests.
