Admissions Requirements

General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Prospective Students can complete the Hiram Express Application, the Hiram Application, or the Common Application. Students must submit an official high school transcript with the following coursework included:

  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of Mathematics
  • 3 years of Science
  • 3 years of History and/or Social Science
  • 2 years of the same Foreign Language
  • 2 years of electives from any of the above subjects

Applicants must submit either SAT or ACT scores. Students may be able to have this requirement waived with a GPA of 2.8 or higher and rigorous high school preparatory coursework. Students are recommended to submit the following:
Hiram Application supplemental form
Personal interview
Graded writing sample or essay
