General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Prospective students can apply using the Guilford Application, the Common Application or the CFNC Application. Students must also respond to the essay prompt provided on the applications. An unofficial transcript can be submitted with the application, though an official transcript will be required prior to a final admission decision.

Students may choose to submit their SAT or ACT scores. If applicants decide not to send in their scores, they must complete the test-optional form and a short response to an additional prompt provided on the college website. Prospective students can decide to submit an optional letter of recommendation from a non-family member.
