Students can apply online directly with the Davidson Application or with the Common or Coalition applications. Students can also apply by mailing a printed application to the college. This application can be downloaded as a PDF from the Davidson College website.

Incoming students are assessed on the difficulty and ambitiousness of their high school coursework, with special emphasis placed on writing ability, personal impact and character, leadership skills and standardized test scores. High school transcripts showing good grades in challenging areas of study are the most important factor considered in an application.
