Admissions Requirements

General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions

Students can complete and submit the Coe College Application or the Common Application. Applicants must submit scores for the SAT or ACT. A minimum SAT score of 1030 and an ACT score of 20 are required.

A high school transcript must be sent. The minimum required GPA is a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and honors and advanced classes are weighted. The following coursework is recommended:

  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of Math
  • 3 years of Science
  • 3 years of Social Sciences
  • 2 years of Foreign Language.

Prospective students must complete a personal essay and submit a letter of recommendation. These are optional if the minimum academic standards are met.
